Is it Ok to continuously eat snacks while body building and eating a normal diet and exercising regularly?

July 28th, 2009 Posted in Body Building | 1 Comment »

Just wondering…

I need a proper Body Building diet but dont know how to work it.

Eat as much and often as you can. More protien, and more protien. But no dairy products before or while you work out, it causes you to foam up and irritates your stomach.

How do the baseball rules work?

July 28th, 2009 Posted in Baseball | 4 Comments »

I only want to know what the numbers mean on the top of the screen when someone is on bat. Like it will show 2-2. I think it has something to do with foul balls and strikes, but what determines if its a strike or foul ball? How does a baseball player get a walk off, is it four consecutive bad pitches?

The numbers when someone is at bat are the count. A batter gets either 3 strikes or 4 balls per at bat to hit the baseball. If he gets 3 strikes before he gets 4 balls then he is out. Vice versa, if he gets 4 balls before 3 strikes he walks. The four balls don’t have to be consecutive. It’s only called a walk. A walk off is usually describing a home run, a hit, or a walk that scores the winning run when the home team is batting in the ninth inning. It is called a walk off because once the winning run scores, the home team doesn’t have to play defense for the next half inning, they can just "walk off" the field. Hope this helps!

Does the synthetic human growth hormone really help you grow?

July 28th, 2009 Posted in Growth Hormone | 2 Comments »

I really want to grow!! I’m a 17 year old guy, and I’m only 5’4” =[
I want to grow at least 5’8”

So does the synthetic human growth hormone work? What about the Growth Enhancer Plus?? Should I contact my doctor, or where can I buy these medicines?

Also, my voice has NOT changed and I have like no mustache.

If you have not fully gone through puberty, it is likely your growth plates are not closed, therefore growth hormone might work.

These drugs are not to be given unadvisedly, and you should seek referral to an endocrinologist for evaluation. You will have some xrays, to look at the growth plates and see if you are a candidate.

If you come from a short stature family, it may be constitutional, and the endocrinologist would be reluctant to give them. If, however, there is another reason for your short stature, and your bones are starting to close the growth plates, they might want to give you a few extra inches before it is no longer an option.

What are the best supplements/probiotics to take, to get rid of massive Candida infection?

July 26th, 2009 Posted in Supplements | 3 Comments »

I am too lazy to change my diet, so I’d like to know if there are any specific antifungals/probiotic supplements that work pretty well to destroy an intestinal yeast infection…?

If you managed to cure a Candida/yeast infection, what products or drugs did you take? How well did they work?

I REALLY need help on this as I am faced with a serious health problem that may or may not be Candida overgrowth, but without medical insurance, I can’t get extensive testing done to figure out what condition I really have. However from my own research, it seems likely that Candida is a major component of my longterm illness, if not the whole thing.

Can you treat Candida effectively with supplements/drugs, without making significant dietary changes?

I’m getting all sorts of symptoms now that keep increasing, something like IBS (I feel things moving in my digestive system, and constipation is severe) and blurry vision/eye pain/bloodshot eyes, water retention, fatigue.. I need some help!

Yeast is controlled in the long run by correcting diet and lifesyle habits. If you don’t want to take charge of your diet and change it to eliminate the fungus permanently you will continue to have issues.

Parasites feed on fungus and fungus feeds on sugars.
Parasites can cause all of the symptoms you are talking about. www.curezone.com has homeopathic remedies you can use to cleanse both fungus and parasites from the body.

Changing your diet will eliminate the IBS stuff. To permanently and effectively eliminate fungus and parasites you have to change your diet.

I teach clients everyday how to get well without prescriptions, by changing thier lifestyles, habits and diets.

What is the best nutrition supplier for bodybuilders?

July 26th, 2009 Posted in Nutrition | 1 Comment »

From GNC, to Megaplex, to Animal there are soo many nutrition suppliers which one is the leader and most used among professional body builders?

It really doesnt matter where you get it, just what you’re getting. Most of the products are the same, just vary slightly in ingredients. Optimum Nutrition’s whey protein has always been on the top of the bodybuilding supplement list, and for obvious reasons. I ordered myself a 5lb tub of it and it was the best I ever had. They introduced it into the market first after all. For creatine, Higher Power is ranked #1. NO Shotgun still reigns supreme for Nitric Oxide. GNC, DPS Nutrition, even Sams Club carries bodybuilding products.

How can i start body building from Start?

July 26th, 2009 Posted in Body Building | 1 Comment »

I m new to start body building.. but i dont know how to start it.. i have dumbles…and weight rod… plz advice me starting steps for body building.

As a former body builder, I would say this. It depends on where you are and the reason why you want to be one.

Step 1. Set a goal.
Step 2. Set up a schedule.
Step 3. Create a log book.
Step 4. Join a gym. Specifically one that has certified trainers who can work with you to develop a routine that you can do on your own.
Step 5. And this one is important. Get a complete physical from a doctor. This insures that you have no pre-existing medical condition that will limit you in pursuring your goal.

What did baseball mean to race relations and the American identity before integration?

July 26th, 2009 Posted in Baseball | 5 Comments »

Baseball is the "National Pastime" and before World War II it was the most popular sport in America. No blacks were permitted to play in white organized ball until 1946 because of racist league management. What do you think the fact that blacks created their own separate leagues says about the role of baseball in the American identity?

It says that we (yes I am Black) did what we did what had always when done when Whites would not allow us to do something. We started our own version which was just as good (and in many cases better as N-e-g-r-o League All Star teams routinely beat MLB All Star teams in exhibitions) as what they had. Most people don’t know this but the East-West Colored All Star Game played at the original Comiskey Park in 1933 actually outdrew the first ever MLB All Star Game which was played in the same stadium one week earlier. This shows that White America was beginning to realize the quality of baseball that was played in the N-e-g-r-o Leagues was just as high as (and arguably higher than) that played in MLB. This also made racist owners try even harder to keep us out of MLB.

Often, N-e-g-r-o League teams would get their names by placing the word "Black" in front of the name of the local MLB or MiLB team, i.e. New York Black Yankees, Chattanooga Black Lookouts, Atlanta Black Crackers ("Crackers" was the name of the first professional team in Atlanta, a reference to cracking home runs), Birmingham Black Barons (who at one time counted Satchel Paige and Willie Mays among their players and were owned by Abe Saperstein, the same man who founded and owned the Harlem Globetrotters), Washington Black Senators, Jacksonville Black Caps (Jacksonville’s MiBL team was the Red Caps) Shreveport Black Captains, New Orleans Black Pelicans, Little Rock Black Travelers, etc. The Kansas City Royals name is a tribute to the most famous N-e-g-r-o League team of them all, the Kansas City Monarchs.

When the MLB and MiLB teams were on road trips, the N-e-g-r-o League teams would often play in their stadiums and give the MLB team owner a portion of the receipts. This was also true for some MiLB teams. For example, when the Birmingham Barons were on a road trip, the Birmingham Black Barons would play at Rickwood Field. The N-e-g-r-o League teams were, however, required to use the MLB or MiLB teams announcers who were often just as racist as the owners. When the Barons played at Rickwood Field there was one section of the right field bleachers that was designated as "The Colored Section" and whenever a player be it a member of the Barons or the opposing team would hit a home run into that section the announcer would say the player hit it into "The Coal Bin." The bleacher designations were the exact reverse for the Black Barons’ games, with one difference: the one section of the bleachers had no denigrating designation.

In short, the N-e-g-r-o Leagues showed that we could do anything that Whites could do and could do it just as well, if not better in some cases. The N-e-g-r-o Leagues endured until 1962 when they finally closed down shop for good because they had served their purpose, which was to give us a place to play professional baseball. When Pumpsie Green debuted with the Red Sox in 1959, it meant that every team in MLB had integrated.

Before anyone says anything about the date in the question it is correct. Jackie Robinson signed to play with the Brooklyn Dodgers’ minor league team, the Montreal Royals in early 1946. He played one year for them before being called up to the Dodgers with whom he debuted on April 15, 1947.

What does the addition of a human growth hormone gene allow the bacteria to do? why?

July 26th, 2009 Posted in Growth Hormone | 1 Comment »

help me with science please!!
it’s basically asking how the bacteria changes when adding a human growth hormone gene.

It allows the bacteria to produce human growth hormone.

Human growth hormone (HGH) is medically used to treat dwarfism. Before bacteria made HGH, animal growth hormones were used, but there were problems including expense.

Research scientists at Stanford and the University of California at San Francisco inserted the HGH gene into bacteria to see if the hormone could be harvested directly. It could be. This was the first commercial product of Genentech, the biotech company.

The next product from the company was human insulin made by bacteria. Before recombinant DNA, insulin was taken from cows and sheep in the slaughter houses. But these animals did not produce human insulin. When the human insulin was produced by bacteria, it was much more effective and safer.
