What kind of sport nutrition stuff should i get to cut down the fat and build muscle?

September 18th, 2009 Posted in Nutrition | 1 Comment »

Im 15, i play football and I want to get rid of some of my extra fat and build muscle in its place. a couple of my friends use like sport nutrition powder and it really shows off on them. I’m gunna buy some soon but there are so many different kinds. I don’t know which one to buy. Do I just go into the nearest GNC and ask them or please post what you reccommend.

I highly recommend Pure Whey Protein Stack

Champion Nutrition does it again! This flavor is relatively new to me… I tried a sample pack a couple of months ago and it was absolutely delicious. It’s not a super-fake banana taste (like the Runts candies), but more of a creamy flavor, which is implied by the play on words that is the name of the flavor (Banana Scream::Bananas’n'Cream).

The quality of the protein is excellent as well, including both isolate and concentrate (a stack). Great overall consistency, stirring ability (a bit thick on the surface of the liquid when you stir it), shaking consistency is perfect (frothy, creamy, lump-less), and blend-ability is great, too. It thickens up and lightens up nicely when blended, turning 16oz of shake into about 24 oz’s of a lighter frothier liquid. It has a consistent texture when blended as well, unlike some proteins that settle and have separation.

Overall, I give this whey a 5/5. Delicious taste, great macros, and great price.

I bought it with free shipping from…

Hope you find your favorite. Good Luck!

can we start body building at the age of 13?

September 18th, 2009 Posted in Body Building | 5 Comments »

can we start body building at the age of 13 or not?

You can, but you should do it sensibly get the advice of a professional in the industry, it can have effects like stunted growth, weaker muscles etc etc if you over do it.

It is probably best to just work out and stay healthy for a few years until your body has developed properly and then start body building.

What are the joint movements in a baseball pitch?

September 18th, 2009 Posted in Baseball | 1 Comment »

Im doing a project for school and i have to list all the joint movements in a baseball pitch in order. I have no idea how you play baseball, let alone how to pitch one. So i need help badly!

Pitching is a full body thing, you use every joint, from your feet, to your fingers. Which includes things from your hip, knees, elbow, neck, shoulder etc. If you didn’t and you isolated some of these joints, then you could seriosly injure yourself.

Note: For a school project, google is probably a more reliable sorce, then a Y!A Answerer.

How do I stimulate my growth hormone production?

September 18th, 2009 Posted in Growth Hormone | 2 Comments »

I’m 17 1/2, Asian and 5’7.

I wish to be 5’9(minimum) and yes, my parents are short too(5’6/5’5).

Only las week, I started height enhancing exercises(and they actually work, lol) but I don’t think that’ll be enough.

I’m willing to go on growth hormones, but I probably won’t because my mom won’t approve.

What are some foods that are naturally rich in growth hormone stimulating substances?

No, there isn’t a way. You are still growing, so growing 2inches is expected.

What University has the best nutrition program?

September 15th, 2009 Posted in Nutrition | 2 Comments »

I originally majored in Accounting (my school is known to have a good Business program) but decided to switch my major to nutrition. I’m still at the same university but the nutrition program isn’t very big. Is there a better school I should transfer to? I live in southern California (los angeles area). I heard that Cal State LA has a good program. Any other suggestions? Also, what do they have to offer?
to phoenixsmiles, what is NIH? Or can you tell me the link? Thanks.

Tennessee Tech. They have bootleg stills.

How to play Baseball and what r the rules of playing baseball ?

September 15th, 2009 Posted in Baseball | 2 Comments »

Plz tell me a link about this. I am very crazy of Baseball. I only know about cricket. I’ve never played baseball.

Very basic: Baseball is a game between 2 teams , 9 players each, under the direction of a manger played on an enclosed field.

Object of the Game- Team that scores the most runs wins.

Infielders- That has a diamond shape with 4 bases 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base and home plate.

Catcher- Behind Home Plate he catches the pitcher
Pitcher- Throws the ball over the plate
1st Base man
2nd Base man
Short Stop
Third base man

Outfielders
Left Field
Center Field
Right Field

Since you know about Cricket my 1st link comes from the BBC they have a good link on how to play Baseball the basics and latter on read the rules from MLB as they get more detailed.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/olympics/baseball/3562135.stm

In a regulation game 9 innings make up a game. Top of inning where visiting team gets to try to hit the ball and score runs without getting 3 outs while home team takes the field and tries to prevent runs. At the bottom of the inning it’s just the opposite.

Who is the best baseball player before the human growth hormone era? And who is the best in the HGH era?

September 15th, 2009 Posted in Growth Hormone | 15 Comments »

My vote would go to Willie Mays in the era before human growth hormone was widely abused. And my vote for the best player in the human growth hormone era would be V. Guerrero. The guy can do almost everything.

Well, I was born in the 70′s, so forgive me if I don’t give an answer to the pre-HGH era of someone like Wille Mays, Mickey Mantle, or Babe Ruth…I never saw any of them play and refuse to grade anyone on highlights alone.

The best player I can recall seeing before 1994 (which is when I will assume the HGH era began) would be Ozzie Smith. No one was at his level defensively at his postion for as long as he was in my lifetime. Yes, he didn’t put up the great offensive glory numbers, such as Home Runs and RBIs, but he was a very solid hitter who knew how to run the bases…not to mention that he was clutch in the big games.

In the HGH era, I am going to break it down to the person whom I believe are on performance enhancing chemicals and person whom I think isn’t…Granted, regardless of a positive test, everyone in MLB is suspect and there is a much higher percentage using than who has gotten caught to this point…Also, I don’t rate only on offensive performance…So, Ortiz and Bonds will not be on my list because they are 1 dimensional players…But as far as a player who I don’t think is using – are there are not many – but I think Ichiro is the best all around player of the HGH Era who is not using… Also, can I put a vote in for Maddux for pitching???

As far as HGH player who is using…I believe that ARod is suspect and over the past 10 years the best all around player…And with Clemens pitching…

What are good supplements for a 12 year old boy with diabetes to take?

September 12th, 2009 Posted in Supplements | 2 Comments »

My son is a type 1 diabetic and I wondered if there were good supplements to take to help regulate his blood sugars? Since he’s going through puberty, his sugars are erratic.

The only thing that can really help your son is if you get him to see a nutritionist to figure out exactly what he needs.

The best thing I think for him to do is eat a banana every day or something rich in potassium considering diabetic ketoacidosis which is something you really need to know about. If you give your son a daily multivitamin and an Omega-3 oil capsule with a meal it would do him well. Also if you find that he is lethargic from his diabetes than a B-complex vitamin can boost his energy.

I only say this because I live with a diabetic and have researched it for years. You should definitely have your son see a nutritionist though.

Take care.
