How do I remove ink from a baseball?

ink – bic blue pen
baseball – rawlinkgs major league official baseball
[ ] I want to remove the ink without damaging the baseball, any suggestions on what works & of course what doesn’t. Its a one time shot so I can’t test things out.

rubbing alcohol usually takes off ink, don’t know what it will do to the baseball.

    You want to take off a Barry Bonds autograph? I would use automotive handcleaner like that used in a bodyshop.
