ING DISGUSTING. Not only the dirty in sadists that get off harrassing him, and electrocuting him, but the people who all dissappear, and only one guy protests, and the piece of on the right carries on clapping the stupid up game

    Yeah-rules have to …
Yeah-rules have to be enforced when people make it difficult on themselves.

Of course I wouldn’t think this guy deserves to be shot, and my “leanings” don’t go that far at all.

“Authoritative” and “authoritarian” are different terms my friend.

The job of the police is to protect and serve, but if you think they don’t ever have to be AUTHORITATIVE then you’re living in a cartoon.

Look at the “video response” vid above-that just breaks my heart for everyone involved-
    Just comply with the cops.

    He didnt get …
He didnt get tasered for having a wrong seat and little bottles of vodka…He got tasered for not moving when he was told. No way I’d be a cop. Too much bullshit to have to put with.

    I love the …
I love the title.Little bottle of vodkas. One,everybody knows they cant bring their own liquor to a ball game, two,he was egging the police and resisting them, which by any police standards is the right to taze someone. And last but not least,he was obviously drunk from….you guessed it…..the little bottles of vodka.

  8. huntnd says:

    Unheard of… no …
Unheard of… no matter what they do to him?

How about if they put him face down on the ground and shoot him dead like happened with that guy in Oakland and the BART cop? Do your authoritarian leanings go that far?

  9. randyjsing says:

    Public intoxication …
Public intoxication, vulgarity, disturbing the peace, trespassing, and eventually resisting arrest led him to his fate…bottom line.

ChicagoIrishman1, certain groups that think everything is a conspiracy are infiltrating vids like this in an attempt to sway public opinion. It’s obvious isn’t it? Look at the thumbs up and thumbs down marks…starting from the beginning of the video comments.
It’s very clear…just remember, more people believe like you do. Don’t let them fool you.

  10. randyjsing says:

    To tell you the …
To tell you the truth, such an example as this is why I believe America is in trouble, because we’re divided in so many ways.

I think it should be unheard of to defend someone who is breaking the law, and then makes it worse by resisting arrest…

Many people say that the cops should’ve pulled him out of his seat and used their combative training techniques to subdue him….yeah right! They STILL would’ve complained…
    I don’t know what these people would’ve wanted…

  11. randyjsing says:

    I want to defend …
I want to defend the innocent. I want to shout injustice when an innocent person is a victim of police brutality. Defending someone exhibiting criminal behavior and refusing to comply? That’s the wrong person to defend.

I DO hope that this poor man gets the mental, physical, and spiritual help that he needs, but he didn’t need to be coddled that night…he needed to sleep it off in jail. Everyone knows that when you resist arrest under these circumstances, a happy ending won’t result.

  12. randyjsing says:

    Seriously, it’s …
Seriously, it’s love for my fellow man that motivates me to want this man to get help. The problem is that he won’t be subject to LAWFUL authority. Is tasing the best way to fix this solution? Probably not, but something has to be done when people refuse to comply with the laws of our land, and in this case, he would’ve been complying to a lawful, moral, and ethical law. Getting wasted on vodka at the game, showing clear signs of public intoxication by being vulgar, and resisting arrest…

    Look Precious, I’m …
Look Precious, I’m trying to provide ideas and potential solutions, not excuses. If getting to the root of the issues that plague our society instead of locking these people up and trading them on the stock market, isn’t your deal them fine. Keep making excuses and throwing your fellow man under a bus, see how far that gets you.

Do you think anyone looks friendly to a drunk guy in a Security Officer suit? No.

    Love and Light.

    What does being a …
What does being a liberal have to do with this? Are you in’ retarded? Your probably some sorry pig or some piece of firefighter. blah blah blah

  15. NPRMc says:

I love how the guy …
I love how the guy yells “take it easy on him!” Stupid liberal, can’t you see the incredible amount of restraint these officers/security had to use? This guy should’ve gotten a in’ wood shampoo and his fat drunk should’ve been dragged out. But they can’t, so they had to resort to this so called “brutality.” him.

  16. adiosparasiempregord says:

    The man in this …
The man in this clip, Thomas Bruso, is well-known in San Francisco, mentally unstable and extremely dangerous. Known as “Tom Slick” or “Vietnam Tom”, he has attacked and choked people and spent a lot of time in jail. He’s very strong, angry, belligerent, violent and unafraid of police. He could hurt or kill innocent people and should be locked up for his own good and for the good of society. I don’t generally support using tasers, but this time, the police actually performed a public service.

    Citizens:

Go to your local Army Surplus stores or find the “right” individual and you too can possess a taser or 3. Keep it on you, and if for some reason you need to use it before you are abused, get them before they get you. I am being serious. Go purchase some and walk the city streets with them. It is your right to possess one. Why not?

    Jane, Thanks for …
Jane, Thanks for your replies. It sounds like neither one of us was there, and the video isn’t going to tell the whole story. Unlike others here, I don’t ume that the cops gave the guy 30 seconds to comply and then tased him. Stadium security already tried to quiet him; the cops came second. Plus, he was warned–that much we can see from the video. At what point do we hold him responsible?

I respond partly out of a revulsion to public drunkenness & belligerence, which breaks said contract.
