what protein suppliment is best for body building?
i am underweight. 20 years and only 115 pounds. i have tried everything to gain weight but it never worked. now i have started to work out. i thought that if i take protein suppliment, it would be better to gain weight and for body building too. so somef u could suggest me some, i would be really thankful to you.
Eat 6 times per day, exercise 5 times per week, take 2 days off and after every workout take whey protein. I would recommend Designer Whey (http://www.designerwhey.com).
Since you want to gain weight, take more carbohydrates and protein in your diet. Fruits and vegetables are also important. Always drink lots of water.
Remember to take the recommended amount, no more or less. Any more or less, there will be no benefit.
You can take Creatine also. But never, ever take steroids or amino acid supplements. Steroids shrinks you package.

I recomend u use pure whey protein..u can get it at gnc..and use the gnc brand..also i recomend u get a amino acid formula/kit…so u can help mix taht into ur regimine…I went from 115lbs to 145 in like 5 months..so i kno it works..also my bench went from 95 to 185 so i was pretty impressed..dont forget ur cardio tho..that is important too

Just eat a normal diet. You don’t need protein supplements, contrary to popular belief, in fact taking in too much protein is actually dangerous. The process of digesting protein in the body takes in calcium, if you take too much protein, your body starts robbing your bones of calcium, which will make them weaker over a long period of time. Too much of anything is a bad thing, this is not a simple question, check health sites online (not bodybuilding sites, as they are just trying to sell you a protein supplement that you don’t need), and check the amount of protein per unit of body mass needed…it should be less than the recommended daily value of protein, if not, follow the amount of protein per unit of body mass rule. Google and WebMD are your friends.

Protein supplements can help but only if you have a sound diet. I would recommend eating 5x day with plenty of lean meats such as chicken and fish. Also include veggies, fruits, milk, and plenty of water. It sounds like your a slow gainer -so you need to be an eating machine to gain weight.
Also, I would train with heavier sets of 8-10 reps to really shock your muscles and force them to develop.
As far as protein supplements, I really like Muscle Milk.
It tastes great and provides a generous amount of whey and casein protein. It’s basically a blend of fast and slow-release protein – which helps build muscle tissue faster.
