What are some good supplements for heavy consumers of alcohol?
I drink a considerable amount of alcohol (beer & hard liquor) almost every day and i was wondering if there were any supplements or vitamins that would help curb the long-term detrimental effects to my healy.
-and by the way if you say dont drink because its bad for you, you must either be incredibly stupid to think a heavy drinker like myself doesnt know its bad, or you just want to insult me, and either way im not going to listen to it.
Have your liver enzymes checked. If they are elevated you already know that the best course is to stop drinking. Then the liver can begin to repair itself. Yes it can regenerate. Milk Thistle taken daily helps to detox a damaged liver and help it to recover.

I drink a lot of wine, and I can only tell you that tons of water and all types of vitamins and exercise will revive your body. Eat well and use lots of cleansers for your organs: vegetables, cranberry to aid your bladder, and they also do make "liver detoxifers’ found in health food stores. Anything that cleanses your body totally will help. Look into the liver cleanser supplements. They are in health food stores with the body detoxifying vitamins. Any of those will help.

Well first off, I just wanted to make sure you do know that you absolutely are an alcoholic. I am sorry but there is no way to decrease the damage you are doing to your liver unless you stop drinking. Remember the hardest part is admitting to yourself that you are an alcoholic. I am not going to tell you to stop drinking as I know it will have no impact. The truth is you have to come to that conclusion yourself. YOU have to be the one to decide to do this. Alcohol abuse is a horrable disease that not only effects the addict but the addicts family and friends. I really hope you are able to get help before you lose everything that is important to you, or you end up dead. God Bless and good luck!
